Individuals with diabetes are required to attend a review at least twice a year to assess the results of various tests and to see how new treatment schedules have affected their condition.
This may sound very simple and straightforward but each review cycle may involve several appointments for blood samples, nurse clinics and discussions with a GP or specialist.
